Nyanzi Isimah, popularly known as Nyanzi Live, is a Ugandan radio presenter, media professional and political analyst whose career reflects steady growth across radio, print, digital media and marketing. Born in Kasawo to the late Kategano Kalidi and Natabi Jesca, Nyanzi’s upbringing laid a strong foundation for discipline, curiosity and public engagement.
He graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication, a course that sharpened his interest in storytelling, broadcasting and political communication. This academic background would later support a career marked by versatility and adaptability in a fast-changing media landscape.
Nyanzi began his professional journey at Sauti FM in Kayunga, where he worked as a radio producer and presenter. The station served as his training ground, exposing him to the practical demands of radio production, programming and audience engagement. His time at Sauti FM helped shape his on-air confidence and behind-the-scenes technical skills.
He later joined Kaliki Investments Ltd, where he served as Head of Marketing. In this role, Nyanzi strengthened his expertise in digital marketing, branding and content strategy, skills that continue to define his work as a content creator and digital marketer. His experience in corporate marketing gave him a broader understanding of audience behavior beyond traditional media.
In 2021, Nyanzi returned fully to broadcast media when he joined Success FM, hosting an evening drive show. The program expanded his reach and visibility, further establishing him as a compelling radio voice with the ability to blend entertainment, current affairs and audience interaction.
Beyond radio, Nyanzi also made contributions to print media. He worked with the Luganda newspaper Ssekanolya, where he served as an entertainment news writer, adding another dimension to his media portfolio and strengthening his storytelling abilities in local-language journalism.
Currently, Nyanzi Live is a radio presenter at 93.0 Kingdom FM and head of production (KTV), where he hosts a morning show. On the program, he engages listeners on topical issues, politics, social matters and daily life, combining analysis with relatable conversation. Alongside radio, he is recognised as a political analyst, writer, content creator, motion graphics editor and voice-over artist, skills that allow him to operate effectively across digital and broadcast platforms.
In his personal life, Nyanzi married Hannah Mukisa Nyanzi in a holy matrimony in November 2023, following their union in 2022. The couple has two children—a son and a daughter, who remain a central part of his life and motivation.
Today, through his work at Kingdom Media and across digital platforms, Nyanzi Live represents a new generation of Ugandan media practitioners—professionals who combine journalism, digital marketing, political analysis and creative production to shape public discourse.
