Kampala, Uganda – March 21, 2026: Ugandan educator and technology innovator Muyimbwa Enock, widely known as Enosoft Blogger, has officially launched the Soft Digital Library, a free online platform designed to provide students and teachers across Uganda with access to a wide range of academic resources.
The digital library offers textbooks, revision notes, past examination papers, and other educational materials for learners at every level, from Baby Class to University. The platform is accessible online 24/7 and is entirely free, making it a potentially transformative tool for students in underserved communities who often struggle to access up-to-date learning resources.
Speaking at the launch, Enock emphasized the importance of bridging the educational resource gap in Uganda. “Many students do not have access to comprehensive study materials, especially in rural areas. With Soft Digital Library, we aim to make quality resources freely available to every learner, anytime and anywhere,” he said.
Teachers are expected to benefit from the platform as well, using the materials as references for lesson preparation and classroom support. Students, on the other hand, can revise and practice with a broad collection of materials aligned to the Ugandan curriculum, ensuring they are better prepared for examinations.
The initiative demonstrates how technology can be leveraged to create meaningful social impact in education. As a computer scientist and digital advocate, Enock has been at the forefront of using technology to improve learning opportunities in Uganda. The Soft Digital Library is the latest example of his efforts to enhance access to education through innovative solutions.
“The launch of this platform represents a major step forward for Uganda’s education sector. It ensures that every student, regardless of location or financial status, can access the resources needed to succeed academically,” Enock added.
The Soft Digital Library is user-friendly and allows learners to download materials easily. Interested users can access the platform by searching “Soft Digital Library” on Google. For live support and inquiries, the library offers assistance via WhatsApp at +256 744 0234 99 or email at info@softdigitallibrary.com.
This digital initiative comes at a time when Uganda is focusing on improving education outcomes nationwide. Experts say that access to quality learning materials is a critical factor in enhancing student performance and bridging the educational divide between urban and rural areas.
The launch of the Soft Digital Library is expected to positively impact thousands of students, teachers, and self-learners across the country. By providing free and reliable resources, the platform aligns with global trends emphasizing digital learning, accessibility, and lifelong education.
Enock’s work also highlights the growing role of local tech innovators in shaping Uganda’s digital transformation. Projects like this not only support academic success but also promote equal learning opportunities, making Uganda a model for leveraging technology in education across Africa.
